    temperature guage

I have seen on ebay that some bikes, usually the 750's have a temp guage. Where is it and will it fit an 850?

Engine Temp? Are you thinking of the GT750 aka the watter buffalo? I am not familiar with any GS having a temperature guage or water cooling.

        My 82 GS1100e Has a temp guage

It appears to be a stock item although I dont know how you would tell that. It attaches to a sensor that sits just below the carbs on the engine.

I'm not sure exactly what model it comes from. I've seen some factory guages that have a temp guage. I was thinking they looked cool. They had all the bells and whistles. But if I buy them I want to get the sending unit also.

Well after looking at the pics again I see that it is oil temp. But I have no idea where the sensor would be on the bike.
