I'm new and I'm sure this is an old question but I'm looking to replace the seat cover on my 1980 1100E. I would like to get an exact replacement. Any suggestions...... Do it myself or bring it to a shop and have it done?Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't think you can get an off the shelf exact replacement seat cover. Both the links above make good products though.Ed

B&H custom make there seat covers. I just installed one on my 82 GS1100E and it fit as good as new, maybe better. It does take a few weeks to receive after you have ordered, thats because each one is custom made.

I tried them, but their cover ripped open at a seam when putting it on. I spoke to Charles over there and I am awaiting his decision.Did you go with B&H Specialties?
