Also I was looking for some hotter plug recommendations. Right now I am using NGKB8ES per the manual. They look ok but some black ring is forming on the bottom thread.

Anyone 4 out? + Hotter plug recomendations
I am 3.5 out on my mixture screw and the popping is 99% gone. I was thinking about going to 4 to see if that gets it all gone. Is anyone else 4 out?

Not just hotter betterOriginally posted by t3rmin View PostA hotter plug is not a solution...
What color are the plug tips?
Its not a long term solution. Short term. I am going to replace the exhaust so I dont want to rejet now and then again latter.

It's not the color of the threads that matters. Check the color of the ceramic in the middle.Originally posted by mortation View PostThey look ok but some black ring is forming on the bottom thread.
