I had her running earlier this summer but pulled the valve cover to verify timing was right.
Well.............after finally getting in 2 valve cover gaskets, and getting around to it
this weekend I checked.Everything was dead nuts on.
#1 pointing where she should and 20 counts between #2 and #3.
When I try turning her over with the starter she has a hard time getting up to speed.
I pulled the plugs and she spins like a top.
#1,#3 and #4 plugs have a coloring to them while #2 does not.
The #2 cylinder was the one that fuel was sucked into when I accidently hooked up the carb fuel and vacuum lines wrong

I put in all the plugs except #2 and she spins fine.
I have put a little oil in the #2 cylinder and was wondering what is the next step.
Do I have to pull the head again and look at the condition of the bore??
It is kind of strange because after I had the fuel line mistake corrected and removed most of the fuel out of the bore, she did start up and run fine:?
Kind of at a stop now as I don't want to do any damage or?????
Thanks in advance.
