    Idle set-screw

I'm having trouble with my land-line [I have dial-up], and so have a hard time reaching this site, but....

I have an '82 GS1100G and an '81 GS850G. Idle is out of whack on both. There's supposed to be an "idle set-screw" somewhere, but I'm not sure where. There's something I can feel, but it may have to do with the cam chain and I'm told I shouldn't ever fool with that... I have the Clymaer and the other commercial manual, no mention of an idle set screw in either, that I can find. Where is it, please, and how do I (a) find it and (b) adjust it. [The 1100 idles 'way too fast, the 850 won't idle at all....

    Thanks.

It's between the two middle carbs, behind where the cable goes into them. A metal wheel about 3/4" dia.

Stick your hand in there & feel around, you'll find it.
