I just submerged my plugs in coke last night, left them in there overnight... it didn't do a thing.

Ok I guess that was a joke. I totally fell for it :-D Oh well. This morning I tried permatex gasket remover. You spray it on and it fizzes and bubbles... leave it on for a few mins and it turns into a gel. Then you can clean that away with some spray (brake parts cleaner, carb cleaner, electrical contact cleaner, whatever). It worked pretty well, it helps if you have a little brush (toothbrush, detailing brush) to get it right into the hole. It's still not quite as good as new, but it's the best thing I've found yet.
Oh, I tried Gunk carb dip too, that didn't do much for me either.Comment
