Will the GS1150 fairing mount on an 1100?

Um, I may be wrong, but on the N. American bikes the '83E's have the mounting tabs...the '82 bikes do not have the factory provided mounting points, but nothing some creative fabbing won't overcome. BTW, I think member Crag Antler has one for sale, you might want to check.

I want some wind protection, but don;t want to ugly it up. No one makes a nice streetfighter or low profile to fit the 9" headlight, that I can find and afford.

It will bolt right onto the 83, but the 82 does not havve the tabs on the frame tubes. It shouldn't be anything to hard to fab.
