Bolts soft and get stripped

i'm taking the carbs apart on my 550 gs, and all the screws on the top pretty much get worn out when i try to take them off.
Any ideas, any spray i can use?

Take them off with vice-grips, throw them away, and replace them with allen screws. Don't tighten the allen screws too tightly, you can get much more purchase on the allen key than the screwdriver and strip the thread.

Stainless screws will keep their appearance better than finished ones.

sounds like my 550 story, i cut grooves into the heads of the screws and basicly made the screws flat head type. then used a impact screw driver to remove them. use the impact screw driver as a regular screwdriver the bits they have work better then a regular screw drivers.

i just wanted to add, i used a dremel moto tool with a cutting wheel to make the grooves
