    Petcock

Got a new oem style petcock for my 1000G, only to find the fuel inlet, and vacuhm inlet are pointed to the back instead of front, as the oem was. Not crazy about the fuel line making a 180 degree bend to get back to carbs. Talked to George, at George Fix where I purchased, and he said all the one's he had were that way. Question being ,has anyone here purchased a valve lately that spigots were facing forward as they are factory style. If I could find correct one I would return this one, and save the hassel of trying to rerout lines. It could be done, but is so much cleaner looking the other way. Thanks.

I'm sure the OEM From www.bikebandit.com would be correct.

Could you take the back plate off and spin it around 180 degrees?

The vaccum side you could take out four screws and spin it 180 degree's and be fine but the fuel inlet is a differnt story, as it is a press fit. The valve is designed so the outlet can be on either side, they just stuck it in the wrong side. I just got off the phone with Bike Bandit, and sounds like they have what I need, but seeing is believing, as this is the third time I've tried to get this part!! Thanks much for the imput...
