    Oil pan removal?

Can I remove the oil pan on my 1000 ET without taking the engine out of the frame?
I know that the pipes will have to come off.
    Cheers

I could on my 1150, although it was a tight slide in and out of place. I will guess that you should be able to remove the pan on the 1000 also.

Yes, just remove the ex pipes and unbolt it. Keep track of where the hardware goes though, it's routine servicing on my 1000ET.

Now I can fix the knackered sump plug thread without swarf getting everywhere.
