I'm sorry for not replying to my thread about the spark problem lately. I haven't been on the forum in a while and just today received a notice that someone had replied. I haven't messed with the bike since finding the problem. I bought green coils and plug wires and was going to get the bike back on the road and discovered that I had lost my key. Well, I bought a whole new (used) GS1150 key set for it and I hope to have some time to mess with the bike next week.
Traced the problem to no spark on number 3, could it be the coil?

Coils for the GS400
How's about something off a modern twin like a GS500, a CB500 or even an SV. Or is there a good aftermarket supplier of coils? The bike has Boyer Bransden electronic ignition, so I won't be needing a condensor.
