Headlight Bucket Q

Want me to take the bulb out of the bucket and measure it?

I don't know so much about the standard sizes, but with my desk ruler, I estimate the glass surface at 6.5".

Do you use the trim ring with a fairing ?

Sounds like a winner Mike! How much would you want for it? I wonder if it WOULD take a 7 inch bulb tho? No matter if these dont work i'll find some that do. Bottom line is a need a bucket that will fit in this fairing. And yours sounds like the ticket!

I would think so, or you'd get a bunch of water in the bucket...least from what i can tell. I got the fairing today (Thanks DAN!!) and the headlight bulb off my 8incher will fit without the ring, but certainly not with..the opening is slighty larger than 7 inches..so even with the ring i think i would be ok with that one. (yours)

i just measured the fairing again..the back of the opening is EXACTLY 7 inches..( it kinda tapers off toward the back from the front)

Cool, well if it works I'll put some cash in the box as well as this 8 incher and send it back to you...then you can send me that swinger whenever you get around to it...no big hurry on that one, prolly be spring before im ready to do that swap. I'll still need to buy some longer shocks too.
