Whats the best way to get rust off chrome parts?(i.e. handle bars air cleaner covers, springs ..etc

Read somewhere once that a really good method was to use crumpled up tin-foil, dipped in Coca Cola. Don't know if it was shiny side up or down.....or if it had to be tin foil, or aluminum foil (or if it made a difference whether Coke or Pepsi
)

You can try 0000 steel wool I have used it on glass and chrome. cleans both very well. Hope this helpsComment

if it is surface rust chrome polish will get rid of it.Comment
