Dyna coil firing order 78 gs 1000 "Need Help"

I noticed the dyna ignition plate does not have any timing indexs on it. I believe I can dial my timing in better if I had an index to match with the timing marks on the mechanical advancer. Without an index, I am completey guesing at timing, especially on the 2 3 cylinders. Am I missing something or is this it. Any info or ideas appreciated. I really want to ride tomorrow, dyna will not be open until Monday.

Coldeye, use the timing plate that worked with your point setup. It will fit behind the Dyna ingnition plate, just as it did before. The timing marks on the mechanical advancer remain the same.

Ahhhhhhh very clever. Actually very obvious, I'm a little embarassed. Thanks for the pointer. Can't wait to ride in the morning. Yosemite is a little far, but sounds like fun. I be reporting by noon.
