no helmet lock, aftermarket gas cap nad when u say ignition do u have to remove the tumbler from the ignition assembly

If you take off the seat lock and take the lock to a locksmith ,they should be able to cut keys to suit without having any codes.I've done this in a little 1 1/2 horse town here in Aus,so you should be able to do the same.My keys came out while I was riding and didn't notice as I had a tank bag on at the time.Rode back over 80km and couldn't find them.Someone was smiling down at me because when I pulled up on my return another bloke stopped at the same time on one of those stupid little Honda/harley things and bugger me if his key didn't fit.Borrowed it to get another cut to get home(via another 7500km)then did the above.Cheers,Simon.:-DComment
