    Real Gasket Question

I just installed a new Real Gasket on my GS 750. I have never used them before. I used two fingers in the center of a 1/4 drive ratchet to tighten the bolts. My question is, should I use a blue tread locker on the bolts to keep them tight, or will they stay tight without the tread locker? I would rather not use it if they will stay tight, but I am really having doubts because of the vibration and the very low torque specs.

    Thank you for your replies.

No thread lock. I torqued my to 15 in-lbs and it didn't seem all that loose to me.

I was just going by feel of my fingers, I don't have a inch/pound torque wrench. Not sure they go that low anyway, but tightened about 1/2 turn after contact. I will warm it up and retorque as suggested, and give it a try.

      Thanks,

          Thanks Nessism,

I think I should add a inch/pound torque wrench to my tool box. Been wanting to get one, now have a good reason to buy one.

I worried about them coming loose too, since they are not tightened down. I went back over them after a few rides (vibration + heat/cold cycles) and had to tighten up a few. They've been fine since.
