        Ok, here is the final deal.

        I checked it at 5k, adjusted it, everything is synced at 5k. At idle, things are a little off, but not bad. It still vibrates. Maybe the head gasket just needs some break-in time. Who knows. I have decided that that is all the work I am going to put into this problem as I need to sell it within the next month. Thank you everyone for your help and advice.

          One more idea, you are sure when the cams are lined up perfectly that the crank is on the correct top dead center marks, not one of the other marks?
          Just a thought.

            Yes, I am sure. It is the 1,4 TDC mark. I think it if were not that mark, it wouldn't run at all.
