valve tappets...

When I put my valve tappets after taking care of the valves. Which I think I need to go back and fix the inner and outer springs because I did not pay attention to the coil pitches. Thats not a big deal. My question is that when I did take the cylinder out, I flipped it upside down not knowing that the tappets would come out. Anyways, do the tappets have to go into the exact same bores in which they came out???

Sounds like they are not going back in the right holes, don't worry about it.
It will run fine.

it will run fine, just make sure you check valve clearances afterwards.
