What can I say - my new bike has spoke wheels, tubeless tires with tubes in them......from the factory.[/quote]

I know this is an old thread. The OEM tires on my 83 GS1100E had tubes. I've always used tubes. I can't find anything specific on the rims to tell me tube or tubless. I did find TB in the cast on one of the spokes. Would tubless work on my bike?Comment

Tubeless wheels will have an appropriate designation imprinted on them somewhere. "TB" doesn't seem specific enough so I assume you have tube type wheels.Ed
To measure is to know.

I've never used tubes in any GS cast wheels, marked tubeless or not. Only problem ever had was a crack at the valve stem hole on a "80" GS1000G wheel that was marked tubeless, replaced under warranty1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw.
