Sounds like my oil is boiling?

When i shut of my motor i hear a boiling noise for about a min than its gone any ideas?? gs 1100 LT

After a ride on a hot day and especially with a Windjammer on, the gas in the tank boiled. The gas cap was hissing so bad I thought I had a leaking tire.

could also be compression escaping a partially open valve

Let your mechanic listen to it. I think motor heat sufficient to boil your oil would destroy your engine pretty quickly - that's not likely happening.
