    really dumb question

    Okay bikes been in strorage for the winter. first oil change, I can't remember which oil 10 w 40 or 20 w 50. I don't even have any empty jugs around. help! 84 1150. sorry for the blonde moment.

        Yep, Mr. Nessism is right. I run 20w-50 in the summer 'cause it's pretty hot out here. I don't know if it makes my bike feel better, but it makes me feel better. :-D

              The first couple of years, I used Castrol 20w50 in my 1150. the years following, only Mobil 1 15w50.
