Was, but just cut them of for replacement. Love the replacement grips, but can't recall the name of them right off hand.

I sure do...on both bikes. The GS1100 came with after-market grips but the guy gave me the OEM grips and I put 'em on the second day I had it.:-D (I think maybe it's because I have rather small hands and many of the after-market grips seem like such a 'hand full'.)

Don't like OEM grips. Have replaced them on all five GS bikes I've owned since 1986.

This is what I replace them with -- Grand Touring grips, by Sunline http://www.casporttouring.com/store/...D/grips/440-01

Use Grab-On soft foam grips, good profile, cuts out a lot of vibration through the bars and has good grip in the rain with leather gloves.

Nope. I put Pro Grips on every street bike I have. Nice and gummy, soft and wear well. Great combination IMO.

I have the kuryakn iso grips. Like them so far tho they feel like holding onto tree limbs compared to my sportbike's grips. I love the look on my L though

Thanks for the feedback folks. To each his own, apparently.

i'm not sure which i have, but i'm guessing aftermarket as they have my name in them (not trying to be sarcastic, that's how it came from the previous owner) but they're comfy and i like 'em!
