Hacking controls, what do you think?

I was browing around mikesxs.com looking at grabbing that nifty (And more now, I am getting an XS650 to add to the stable) speedo.

I stumbled upon some nice left and right hand controls that are pretty chrome

I was thinking about grabbing them to replace mine!

    Wiring diagrams I found online:

Zona slot deposit 5000 dengan link slot gacor depo 5K dan slot min depo 5RB yang bisa dimainkan via DANA tanpa potongan. Cocok untuk pemain modal receh yang ingin main slot online minimal deposit 5000 dengan peluang jackpot tetap terbuka.

Looks possible to me, would just have to do something about the choke.

Anyone have any input besides bashing my love of chrome?

depends if you mean the actual switch assembly that you bolt to the handlebars or the switches themselves. maybe different on your model but mine are ali and i polished up the switch assy and cleaned up the black plastic switches. looks very unique i think

Most GS (all?) switchgear are painted aluminum and will polish up nicely.

Personally, I used late-model Katana switchgear on my 750ES to rectify worn switches. The actual swap is a no-brainer, just trace the wires out. If you're patient, you can actually rebuild the stock harness into the mating plug to the donor controls.

If you're using a non-stock application and you have to file the mounting tab or pin off of the switchgear body, wrap a single layer of skateboard grip-tape around the handlebar where your switchgear will mount - works great to prevent the switchgear from rotating around the bar, and allows you to adjust the mounting position to suit your ergonomics.
