Coil Ohms rating

Hey guys, I'm second guessing myself now. I'm fixin' to order 2 dyna coils tonight. What Ohm rating do I need to get? Igniton is all stock.

Standard Dyna green 3-ohm. If you plan on upgrading the ignition to a Dyna S at a later date, you should not get the mini's.

Thanks Don. I was thinking that's what I needed, but I had be certain. While we're on it, what does the dyna s replace?

The Dyna S replaces the stock ignition box (black box) and the pickup coils. Together Suzuki calls it the "Signal Generator". Anyone that has a bike with the old points setup would benefit from the replacement but I bought mine because I feel better not depending on a 28 year old ignition system. I hate being stranded when I could have prevented it. HTH.
