What finish is the head? If you want polished aluminum I can tell you how I am getting between the fins on a Norton head I'm cleaning up. I am using a rag wrapped around a paint stirring stick with metal polish. -

Suzuki painted the engine with silver paint. Fairly easy to replicate with silver engine paint.
If you want a natural aluminum finish get the head bead blasted. It will come out shiny but not in a polished sort of way.Ed
To measure is to know.

It's what the locals around the hill country northwest of San Antonio like to call their area. Loaded with some of the best backroads in the country.
Just haven't had a reason to hit the last few states. My wife and I keep talking about a trip to Alaska one day. I'll pick up the rest of the states then. After that all that's left is Hawaii.Comment

Break the head down and take it to a machine shop with a acid wash machine. Looks like an industrial dishwasher.
If you need more bead blast it. I'd keep the blast away from the seats though.Comment
