    Are brake rotors directional?

I have a warped rotor up front...I also have another rotor laying around but was wondering if they need to be used in the same direction or can they be reversed?

    Thanks

Yes you can swap them side to side. Give them a light rub with some emery cloth before use to help them bed in better.

I think they are marked with "L" and "R" and carry different part numbers so, will it hurt to swap side to side? I don't know. Any other opinions?

        No difference to me

I mistakenly swapped a set of front rotors many years ago. It was many months and many thousands of miles later that I accidentally discovered my error. All that time I had not noticed the difference on my GS850. So, I left them be until the next tire change.
