Is it not embossed right near the oil fill hole?

My Clymer manual says 2.6 quarts without a filter, 3.4 quarts including a new filter.

Oh, and when it comes to putting the proper amount of oil in an engine, there is NO "dumb question". 8-[

Yep, mine is. 3200ml. I may need some help from a Canuk or Aussi. :-D

Lets see.......946ml in a quart. With a filter change I dump in 4 qts. Thats 3784ml which is just about to the top of the sight gauge.
