Ignition Switch - Can it be Rekeyed?

I have a 1.5-2v drop to the brown and gray wires coming out of the ignition switch. It's in pretty crummy shape and haven't been able to reduce it so I was going to buy a new one for $15 or so on ebay. Does anyone know if this can be rekeyed? Or if the seat& helmet lock could be rekeyed? I already have two keys (one for gas cap), I think it'd be a little funny to have three :-D

The switch comes off the assembly. It can be moved to another. Failing that, a locksmith could re tumble the new switch with the old tumblers.

But you can definitely replace the contacts.

my ignition had numbers on them. A good locksmith can make you the set from those numbers.
