Not GS related solenoid question

Trying to find a solenoid that will fit the brother inlaws 1976 GL1000 honda goldwing, we dont want to spend $80.00 or so at Bike bandit or the stealership, hope you guys can come up with a alternative.
Oh yeah were in Canada, so we dont have some of the auto parts stores you guys have south of the border.

ok go to whatever mower and lawn tractor repair place you might have around and ask for a starter solinoid, generic type.

See if this Honda part number is compatible with other bikes, then post
and research on Craigslist throughout the country. Someone will have it
for you.
