    Seal Mate

Anyone heard of this or any knowledge of whether it actually does renew old fork seals? I did hear that a number of vintage bike owners had some success.

Seal Mate has helped fix leaking fork seals on over 100,000 motorcycles worldwide. We guarantee it will fix your leaky seals or we'll refund you in full. FREE USA Shipping.

From the articles, it looks like it just removes the dirt behind the seal and doesn't actually do anything to the seal. I would guess that if the leak is due to the dirt it would fix it but if it is due to a worn seal it wouldn't help much.

Fork seals are cheap so if yours are old I'd just replace them. As for the seal mate you can make yourself one with a thin piece of rigid plastic cut to a similar shape.

I thought a seal mate would be a female seal and probably just as useful for fixing leaking forks.Cheers,Simon.:-D

If I have seal dripping off my fork, why would it matter if it were male or female?
By the way, I prefer baby fur seals, the meat is more tender.
