well guys i finally got off of my ass and got the 550 together and guess what? she is running very well. i think i am getting my hands on a 83 550 here in the next few days. i will keep u posted on that i might have some parts for people that need them but who knows yet. i am just happy that i finally got this bike on the road. any1 in western IL wanna ride?

I think you should have mentioned NORTHwestern. There's a lot to the western side of the state (for those of us south of 80).
I was thinking you might be close, but you're closer to Chicago than St. Louis...from which I live an hour north.
I'm pretty sure there's a lot of riders up in your neck of the woods. -
yeah i gotta get the tank repainted it is straight medal right now from when i had it put in the tank to get the rust out for recoating, but once this is done i will get some pics upComment
