      Can't make the claim of being native there but did get quite acclimated when living there from '94 - '02. Had a beautiful house that was only a couple of years old and now I live in a small apartment in So. Cal. that costs more than my mortgage used to.:-?

        Hope you don't get burned out, with all the wild fires out there. Spent some time up around San Francisco a few years ago, loved it.

              Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I started this thread. I want to thank all of you for all the help, especially the link to ebay for a really clean rearend which I got. I ordered a new "driven hub" got everything back together again roadtested it, everything smooth as silk. I would have had this done 10 days ago but the driven hub delivered by UPS sat between my front doors for 10 days. I never use the front door and have never had a delivery left there before so I didn't think to look there. Now for my next project, replacing the carb Orings to cure a lean condition which I diagnosed via GS Resources.......Thanks again, John S.
