Is there a shelf life for "cleaned" carbs??

I've disassembled, dipped, cleaned & reassembled the carb rack for the bike I'm restoring (GS850GLZ)

There are presently sitting in a box waiting (most impatiently I do believe) to get put back on the bike. However, i'm still "fixin'" other things & don't plan on getting them back on for another month or so...

Is there any issue with them sittin' around (dry, no gas in them) for that long?

    Just wondering - TIA,

    mike

Should be good forever, with no gas to turn bad.
Might pull the bowls before you put them on to ensure the floats are not stuck, but they shouldn't be.

    O rings should be fine.
    Gaskets should be fine.
    Nothing should clog up.

My carbs on my 1150 sat sealed in a box for 10 years. No problems.
