    Tool spec

Does anyone have that spec for the tool used to adjust the tapets on the '82/83 GS1100's?

I recall seeing it as a small circular handle tool that easily fit in your palm

Wood screw with the 1/8" square hole in the head, screwed into a piece of wooden dowel.
The screw head fits over the adjuster perfectly.

The Suzuki type tools are available in a couple different sizes. Anyone know the size of the square head (mm) for the 1100E offhand? I think it is 3mm, but not positive. I usually use a pair of needle-nose pliers to hold it while loosening the locknut, and then adjust it.

          Tony.

Like tkent02 said........................robertson head wood screw, screwed into a wood dowel. The you just use the square in the robertson head to adjust.
Can't get much simpler and cheaper than that.
