      Could just be rain grooves in the freeway. Mine wobbles all over the place on certain highways

        Reminds me of a story my grandmother told me when my grandfather first drove on a concrete highways. He slowed down and stopped, checked the tires, drove again, stopped and checked the tires, over and over till he realized it was the control joints cut in the concrete he was hearing not a flat tire

          I have to agree on the new tires. That old, hard rubber is very dangerous. It can crack. Besides that, it provides almost no traction in wet or sandy conditions. You might as well be rolling on solid plastic.
