Brake Caliper Question

Can anybody tell me if calipers from an 82 gs1000 will fit my 82 gs850??. I have a chance to pick up a set and the picture looks similar but I would like to know for sure before purchasing them.

Thanks psyguy for the info. My front brakes are not stopping very well and I thought if I could swap out the caliperes with a pair that works I can rebuild the ones I take off in the mean time.

They never stop that well (you need a lot of lever pressure). I just upgraded both of mine to Kawasaki Ninja Twinpots, the difference in lever pressure needed & ultimate stopping power is incredible.

or you can rebuild the ones you buy so you have to swap parts and bleed brakes only once
