    Basic turn signal question

I picked up an 850 without turn signals on it. This evening I popped a set on the front and light but not blink. Do I have to have a rear signal connected as well for the circuit to be complete and the bulb to blink? I think I do but??

Yes. At least on each side. If your rear burns out (for example) your front will stay on but not blink. So one won't work without the other. I don't think it draws enough current with just one.

Right. You need both to complete the circuit.

and each bulb needs to be in the ballpark of 20 watts for the relay/flasher to work.
