rear brake light

my rear brake works with the foot pedal but will not work with the front brake lever. what should i check, i know there is brake switch on the lever. thanks in advance. 1983 suzuki gs 850g.

Yep

Yeah, there's a line underneath your handlebar that controls the amount of tension needed to initiate it. Loosen the 2 phillip screws and adjust it (by sliding the bar) and I think you'll be fine.
