    carb synch

    i bought a newish one . from some one of craigslist. its a motion pro..
    any way the damn thing is leaking .. has any one on here got one, merc.. type..
    this is what i need
    amount of mercury needed for it to be used properly.

    and wether or not to use the air intake at the back of it when stting up.

    i got a hold of m .pro they dont sell em any more. and the new guy who bought there old stock is a wee bit of a jerk.
    so any help on the above would be real nice ..

    Basically, you are screwed because you can't LEGALLY buy mercury anymore. Buy a different set of gauges & if you used PayPal, file a claim. Ray.

      Upgrade the thermostats in your house and use the mercury from the switch in the old thermostat!

        There is a mercury replacement being sold these days, many places carry it.

          well you cnnot use ny thing else besides merc. in merc set ups.. or vice versa... i can get merc. the problem is knowing how much... and how to seal the tube fitting .. glue or what?

            No need to seal the tube fitting, it is necessary as a vent.

            For quantity, you are looking for about 1 fluid ounce of mercury. I use about 1 1/2 ounces in mine, but I have a six-column set.
