Coil wire +/- ?

For a 1983 GS1100ED.......US Model.

Can someone tell me if the orange/white wires that go to the coil go to the positive or negative terminals? The schematic does not make reference to the polarity. I tought being two wires of the same colour would be negative...........am I wrong?

They are positive. The individual grounds to each coil provide signal for firing.

That's what my 1150 supplemental section says, wanted to double check for the 1100.

According to my manual orange/white goes to the ignition switch (+), black/yellow goes to ignition coil for cylinder 2&3, white goes to ignition coil for 1&4, and black/white goes to ground.

These wire colours are from a GS850/1000GT manual.
