Two questions 1. Where can I get an aftermarket fuel petcock and what size bikes would have the same fuel petcock as the 550. Also where is a good place to buy coils.

"L" is the dreaded "Ladies" model.
"T" is OK.
What you really want is a nice tight "E" -

1. Try ebay...you'll save money. A lot of this stuff is still availible through your Suzuki dealer also. Two questions 1. Where can I get an aftermarket fuel petcock and what size bikes would have the same fuel petcock as the 550. Also where is a good place to buy coils.

The "L" is the really cool looking cruiser with the stepped saddle and higher bars.Comment

Check Z1 Enterprises for aftermarket parts like petcocks.

I agree that the L model exhaust sounds pretty bad. Had some L pipes on my 550E and didn't like them. Sold them for some rusted E pipes and considered it an upgrade.Ed

I've heard T's and L's and they sounded pretty much the same to me. How do the E or S sound different? Lower like a V twin or more of a rip like a crotch rocket?Comment
