Fork oil for 79 850 G

Thanks PSYGUY. What do you wash the forks out with to get any sludge and old oil out before filling with new oil.

Automatic transmission fluid, use it like fork oil, ride it around a while.
Then drain it and add the real oil.

. What do you wash them out with after the old oil has been removed form each fork leg. It is assumed the forks are not being pulled apart to do this as the seals, etc. are OK.

What ever is in the parts washer tank at work, mineral spirits, rags, petrol, kerosene.
remember, I take them apart.
