I'd like to replace the stock coils and wires on my 1982 GS1100GK with new ones. Are there any suggestions on where I can find good aftermarket replacements?

Check in the Dennis Kirk catalog. I've seen several after market electric parts in the latest addition. Can't remember the brand name but several to choose from.

Is the recommendation to replace coils with aftermarket coils. or replace with Suzuki coils? Any advantage with aftermarket coils?Comment

Any advantage?????? From all the posts I've read on this forum there is a big advantage to running aftermarket coils (I still run stock). Besides having a better heat index, you can actually change wires. Combine new coils with an aftermarket ignition and its supposed to be a winner.Comment

I'm running Dyna coils on my 1100gk ,I'm happy with them so far.Cant say as I noticed any performance improvement though, It just didnt miss in the rain anymore...
