Why are there fewer left side covers for sale?

I think its because we always bet the left one ie "i will bet you my left one the Lions will lose this week"

Battery's under the left cover

On mine, I rarely need to take the right side off, everything is really under the left, so the posts break off of it first. I got smart though (took a while) and built up the base of the pins with epoxy so now they are all pretty strong.

On the 550's the battery is under the left cover, and you know how many times you need to access your battery, a lot of times in a state of frustration. The pegs wear out, the covers get accidentally stepped on, maybe even tossed into the ditch, like a golf club on a bad day.
I got one that looks like it was stepped on.
