    1980 gs450 swingarm bushings

    does the 450 has bushings or bearings? if it has bushings is there a bearing conversion for it?

    i have the engine and tanka nd all off just a rollin frame and gunna finish stripping it down soon for a frame makeover and figured id replace the swingarm bushings/bearings while im in there

    If you check one of the various on-line parts parts sources like bikebandit.com or alpha-sports, you will see that the 450 has needle bearings in the swingarm pivot.

      thanks, i did a google search but didnt find much. completely forgot about bikebandit

        Best on-line fishe to see the parts is Alpha-Sports. They use actual Suzuki part numbers as well. Downside is that they are expensive.

          My '81 450 has roller bearings and I had to replace them, the shaft, and seals when I first got my bike. Cost about $100 (Australian) from my local dealer at the time.
