80-750 TSCC/80-1100 TSCC the same top?
I am wondering if the top end of a 1980 4 valve 750 and a 1980 4 valve 1100 are the same...I am thinking not? I was going to save some engine parts for backup for the 1100. What if anything will interchange? I noticed my 1982 750 4 valve top end is different than the my 1980 750 4 valve so I guess there are two different versions of the 750?Tags: None -
80-82 750 16v.E/L same engine.
80-81 had 20 bolt valve cover/82 had 24 bolt.
i pretty sure on this.
750/1100 16v. looks the same but very few parts will interchange.
cams/oil pump gears/oil pump/valve covers ect... -

I remember reading about oil pump?
If I recall correctly? Puting a 750 oil pump in a 1100 was a HIPO mod people use to do?Comment

The bore spacing is the same between the 750 & 1100 but different deck heights & different stroke. The heads will interchange but the 750 bore is too small & the 1100 valves will hit the cylinders. Trans will interchange also. Ray.Comment
