Rewiring the garage...

A whole bunch of fluorescent lights, and a big-ass natural gas heater all in this week.
Several new outlets scattered around.
They even work and everything.

Can't wait for some cold weather to go out and work on some bikes.

It's been hot out.

My #1 son is in Floriduh for a while and likes to compare temperature with us in oHIo.

He called home to say that he looked at the weather map and saw that we were at 22 degrees and Floriduh was at 23 degrees, so it wasn't all that bad. Of course, we were 22F and he was 23C.

Still have to tidy up the wiring, stuff the outlets into the boxes, shorten a few cords, and restack all the parts bins and boxes on the shelves and in the brightly lit attic.... Got two extra lights, maybe hanging lower right above the drill press/welding area? Now have outlets in the garage on two separate breakers so I can run two big things at once...



This heater kicks ass, from stone cold early in the frosty AM it takes about ten minutes to be too hot in there to work on anything. Still have to finish the exhaust duct correctly and sheet rock the old hole over the heater.
Got the over sized heater so it will still work when the new shop goes in alongside the existing garage.



Now hooking up the speakers and stereo... adding 20 amp circuit and a 220 volt circuit for the welder and oven... replace the carpet.

Kind of like a bike, it's never finished.
