Wondered if there was any interchangeability between KZ1000 Cams and GS1000 cams. I periodically see Web cams or other aftermarket cams for the KZ float by. They sure LOOK the same in design and manufacture, question I guess would be the diameter, lobe height, distance between lobes, etc... Any chance they bolt up? I'm betting no, but thought it was worth asking.

Well, since Web uses different part numbers (checked), leaning even more towards no, ah well, saw a set on the cheap, thought I'd check. -
not really sure, spacing might be different. The cams sprockets are definately different. Kawasaki's use a 3 bolt cam gear versus suzuki's 2 bolt.Comment

They will not interchange. The thrust surface of a Kawasaki cam falls in the middle of the bearing surface. DarComment
