I have a question about it, however. The bike runs like a top. It jumps through the RPM range quickly and easily. However, it wants to idle a little too low for my tastes. It seems to want to jump down to about 600rpms when there's no choke and it's warmed up.
The bike in question is a 1980 GS-1000G.
It has approximately 33,000 miles on it.
It runs and rides really well. Starts right up and goes right away.
I have experience working on bikes, but this one has got me stumped. I can't for the life of me see a screw or anything that looks like it would adjust the idle. Am I just missing something, or is there some trick to it??
Thanks!!!!
Jeff
***EDIT***
I did a few forum searches and didn't really find any direct answers about an actual idle adjustment knob.
