    Exhaust Question

In this photo, how would add the flange brackets or whatever you call them to the two middle pipes? The outer still has one. Seems that since these are missing the only salvagable parts are the muffler and left, outside header?

I would have thought they would be two peice flanges that would be held together by the bolts. I know that's what i have on my current 4 cyl bike (rf900) and my past 4 cyl (gpx750r / zx750f1) on all 4 pots.

The flanges on the middle pipes are slightly different, but one piece, and fit over the pipe.
Then you have 2 collets that go around the pipe, which the flange pushes against when you bolt it up.
So you need 2 flanges (often called clamps or collars), and 4 collets to fix the centre header to the bike.

I was just taking off my stock exhaust today (GS1000EN) and snapped some photos of the flanges for you, for visual reference to Stefnwolf's comment:
